I have to confess that I am thoroughly enjoying dressing a little girl. Boy outfits are fun, don't get me wrong, but it's a blast to have a daughter to dress up! Yes, I do find that most of the outfits I choose for her have a definite Punky Brewster flair... I think I watched too much Pipi Longstocking as a child.

I am TOTALLY with you on that one. I loved dressing my son (now 10, almost 11) but dressing Leeza is SO MUCH FUN! There are so many fun girly things..purses, bows, dresses, skirts, capri's, jewerly...it never ends.
LOVE IT!
Go Punky!!!
Girls are so much more fun to dress and your Sasha wears it well! Happy birthday by the way Jamie. I'm not a skier anymore but those look amazing!!
I can't imagine what you are going to do in your next 30 years!
It's true, it's true -- it's SO much fun to dress a little girl. It's also fun to see what they come up with when they start dressing themselves. The day you wrote this, Jane wore a white knit shirt with her brother's clip-on tie, a navy pleated skirt, white tights and black knee boots, and a black velvet cardigan to school. Zuzu wore Jane's (Halloween costume) Pippi Longstocking dress (complete with calico patches) to school, and I very much enjoyed dressing Ellen in a striped shirt, denim jumper, and funky patterned tights that her two older sisters wore before her. I forgot to mention that Jane pulled her hair into a ponytail and then twisted the ends into many tiny braids with multicolored clips on the end. I really should have gotten a picture.
Have I mentioned yet how tickled I am that 3 out of 4 of my kids now will have a same-school-year Morningstar counterpart? Yes!
