Ad Update

February was a short month, but even though we only had 28 days to view and click, your 3,711 visits to this blog netted $12.27 for orphan nutrition in Kazakhstan! Sweet! This brings the total contribution to the SPOON Foundation generated by ads on this blog (December, January, and February) to just shy of $48!

Ad Update

In the month of January your 4,609 visits to this blog, combined with clicking on ads that are interesting to you, netted $15.67 for orphan nutrition in Kazakhstan! Sweet! How cool is it that in two months we've raised $35 for the SPOON Foundation just by reading up on ever-so-adorable Morningstar Happenings!?! :)

Ad Update

Wow - I am totally blown away! In the month of December, your 4,700 visits to this blog, combined with clicking on ads that are interesting to you, have netted $20.07 for orphan nutrition in Kazakhstan! Awesome!

I just posted a $20 donation to SPOON. Way to go, you guys. Think we can do even better next month? I better start thinking of entertaining blog post topics to suck you in to daily visits...

Ads?!?

We're trying an experiment - we're going to try adding Google ads to our blog and see what happens.

Now, before you pass judgment on the ads, hear us out. For quite a while Steve and I have wanted to support SPOON, a really cool organization that provides vitamins and other nutritional needs for orphans in Kazakhstan. So if the ads on this blog generate any revenue, we will donate it all to SPOON.

We'll probably have to play around with ad formats and sizes for a while, so please bear with us - we hope that we can repay your patience by regaling you with amusing stories of our children's antics accompanied by adorable photos. We think it's a fair trade :)

If the ads gain any traction, we'll keep you posted on the amount that this blog is donating to needy orphans in Kaz. And if they get annoying (the ads, not the orphans!), we'll call the experiment complete, pull the ads, and move on. But if we don't try, we'll never know!
