The Leaves Finally Fall

We started working on Sestra's ABC book again and decided that "J" should be for "jump" - and there is no better jumping photo than jumping into a pile of leaves! As you can see, the boys were very committed to the perfect jumping shot and I have to say that it turned out pretty darn well. We have 101 more pictures to take (ok, this must be an exaggeration since there are only 26 letters in the alphabet), but it's kind of a fun project to undertake with the boys. I'm thinking that maybe "I" should be for "ice cream", thus necessitating a trip to Cold Stone. What can I say, I'm a slave to my art!

Autumn is a beautiful season in Utah. It's far too short - being in the desert and at a high altitude, the seasons change quickly - but it's a lovely couple of weeks. This shot is looking up through the leaves of one of the aspen trees in the front of our house. They sure are magical golden trees in the fall.

But don't worry, we won't get wrapped up with fall for too long - Snowbird's season started yesterday and it's almost time to for us to hit the slopes!

They are gorgeous children. Looks like they had fun in the leaves.
