The leaves were just starting to change on Squaw Peak (that's the mountain directly behind our house) last weekend and we decided to enjoy the colors on a little hike up Buffalo Peak. Despite a false start (who knew finding the correct unmarked trailhead on a dirt Forest Service road could be so challenging? Besides, it would hardly be a Morningstar hike if we hiked the right trail on the first try) we had a fantastic time with Gramma and Poppop in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.
