Last weekend I went up to
Sundance for a photography class, my very thoughtful Mother's Day gift from Spike and Sharon. It was great! I loved learning more about the art of photography and I finally feel like I understand a little bit about how to make aperture, shutter speed, and film speed work for me to achieve a desired effect. This blog will no longer be filled with snapshots, it will be graced with
photographs :)
Here are a few of my favorite
snaps photographic masterpieces of the day:
I liked the composition, but on the automatic settings it didn't feel gloomy enough
Oops, yes, that's dark enough
Perfect - just what I was going for!
A study in vertical lines (and using a wide-open aperture)
Curvy lines (and more macro)
I liked this curvy line, but wanted to get a bit more of the stream detail
Love it :)

LoVe It! You are great at this photo bit! Your language is way over my head though! I usually just say "CHEESE" and hope the lens cover is off :)
Wow, Jamie, that's so exciting! I'd love to take a class like that some day :-) Your photographs are beautiful!
