Yesterday we had a chance to hang out with several other area families with kiddos from China. It was great! It's such a blessing to have places where our crazy bio-Kaz-Chinese family tapestry is normal and where we can enjoy our diversity rather than always explaining it. Don't get me wrong, it's a privilege to get to share our family story... but every once in a while it's nice to not have to explain. Thank heavens for the
community of adoption.
We had a lovely evening of burgers and dogs and flag football (a first for the boys!), combined with story-sharing, encouragement, tips-and-tricks, and a celebration of our astounding kiddos, all enjoyed among Utah's beauty.

Sigh. I do so love these cuties! |

I totally get it! It's fun to share the story, but it's nice to not have to! Glad you all have a great group to gather with! Your girlies look like they have bonded so well together!
I haven't experienced the adoption community stuff yet, but I do get what you mean -- it's the exact same thing to hang out with diabetes families, and not have to explain, carbs, insulin pumps, etc. Such a relaxing thing! And I absolutely ADORE the girls dresses!!! Love, love, LOVE!
It was so fun to see you again and actually get to visit for a while {Chinese New Year was a whirlwind}!
I'll keep peeking in on the blog, because as much as I wish it wasn't the case, I probably won't see you again until CNY ;)
