Hooray for Utah powder! Last week, Steve and I indulged in a day on the slopes together - it was heavenly. Well, except for the winded breathing and bringing quads and aching feet. Gotta love that first day of the season feeling :)

It was a lovely day and the
new skis and bindings felt great. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that I can still
almost keep up with Steve - skiing every day does give him a rather unfair advantage! Of course, he spends most of those days coaxing frightened five-year-olds off of the handle tow, so maybe the advantage isn't as great as I imagine. Plus he's running fixed-heel when he works, poor baby.

A great start to the '09-'10 season. Now to figure out how we can get them to name a run for Steve...

Wow, I'm jealous!! and of course, super impressed!! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through ya'll.
AWEsome pic of Steve. Sundance should copy that one for the telly ski class brochure -- it makes me want to try... and I really don't want to try. ~Rich
